We had a great time at Charles' house on Christmas' Eve. Had one of the most happening parties ever. Tons of food, heaps of people and bags of laughs to go around. A Jolly good time indeed!
We played Empires and played a Gift Exchange game which was probably the longest gift exchange anyone ever had - lasted a whole 50 minutes.
The trick of the game was that everyone puts their gifts in the middle. Then everyone is given a random number according to the number of gifts there are. The first person goes up and picks any gift from the pile and proceeds to open it in front of everyone and then sits down.
The second person then can either decide to pick a present from the pile or steal the first person's. Imagine when it reached the 10th person. The 10th person had 9 presents to choose from plus anyone from the pile. Should you be unlucky enough to have your present snatched from you, you can go snatch some one else's until someone decides to take from a pile.
The only rule is that you cannot take back a present that has been taken from you - through out the game.
We had 33 presents.
It was heaps fun!
